How we research wedding venues
Our profiles are assembled from venue-published information and other reliable current sources. We prefer official venue websites for pricing, capacity, policies and amenities.
Confirmed, unknown and editorial information
When we can verify a fact, we publish it with a source status or verification date. When we cannot verify it, we prefer “unknown,” “confirm with venue,” or “pricing not published” instead of filling the gap with an assumption. Editorial guidance is presented as guidance rather than as a venue-supplied fact.
Pricing
A published starting price is not the same thing as the final wedding cost. Food and beverage minimums, service charges, taxes, staffing, rentals, security, overtime and date-specific pricing can materially change the total. We therefore describe published prices as starting points unless the source clearly says otherwise.
Capacity
Maximum capacity is a screening tool, not a floor plan. Couples should confirm that their desired ceremony, dinner, dance floor, entertainment and service layout works at their guest count.
Photography
Venue-specific imagery is preferred. Where a direct photograph has not yet been curated, the site may use a clearly labeled official-site visual preview or photography-pending treatment rather than presenting generic wedding imagery as the venue.
Corrections
Venue information changes. We welcome factual corrections and will update a profile when reliable current information supports the change.
